Founder Statement

My name is Avamon Ghatak, and I’m a 14-year-old 9th grader at The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology . I founded United Under Stars with my sister because we believe that where you come from should never limit what you have access to — whether it's food, education, or opportunity.

Growing up, I’ve seen how underprivileged communities often go unnoticed, even though their needs are real and urgent. Through this nonprofit, I want to take action, not just talk about change. United Under Stars exists to support families in underserved areas of our community through hands-on service like food drives, supply donations, and outreach programs.

I may be young, but I believe that age doesn’t define impact — effort and heart to do. My goal is to bring families together, especially youth, to make a real difference, one project at a time. We’re united by compassion. We’re united by action. We’re United Under Stats.
